Zizzer Zazzer Zuzz
Zizzer Zazzer Zuzz is a Dr. Seuss character that I made for a friend's baby. She didn't reveal the name of her baby until she was born and during her pregnancy she referred to her as Baby Z. The Zizzer Zazzer Zuzz was given to her with the book by Dr. Seuss as a gift for her baby.
Zizzer Zazzer Zuzz is published in the Summer 2016 issue of Art Doll Quarterly.
How she was made
I hand-felted the Zizzer Zazzer Zuzz with hand-dyed wool over natural wool roving. The eyes are felted and all materials used are completely natural for the safety of Baby Z.

Monty
Monty climbs, swings and causes general mayhem when he has evaded supervision. He was inspired by my husband who is often caught conspiring with Monty about their next adventure.
How he was made
Monty is fully poseable. He is hand felted over a wrapped wire armature. His coloring was custom mixed by carding together various colors of hand-dyed wool. His fingers and toes are rubber-coated for a good grip when scaling and hanging from high places.
